A dispetto del recente abbandono di Pokémon GO da parte di tanti primi interessati al gioco, un nuovo report diffuso da Newzoo ha concluso che il gioco ha quasi raggiunto una situazione stazionaria in termini di guadagni e download.

Pokémon GO infatti, avrebbe fruttato 470 milioni di dollari in soli 82 giorni, con risultato giornaliero praticamente costante pari a 2 milioni di dollari (inizialmente, 16 milioni) e 700.000 downloadPokémon GO avrebbe portato nel settore giochi mobile 20 milioni di nuovi giocatori, principalmente provenienti da Stati Uniti, Regno Unito, Germania e Francia: il 36% di utenti avrebbe un'età compresa tra 16 e 25 anni, e il 43% degli utenti apparterrebbe al sesso femminile (nel settore, la percentuale si aggira intorno al 33%).
